"A day trip to pulled pork and madeleines"

I have enjoyed every meal I have had at Doc Morgan's Pub, especially the halibut and chips. Service is slack at most places on the island.
Artisan Eats is my fave and Tuscany is pretty good.

Personally, I love "Blue Eyed Mary's" in Snug Cove. I'm glad to see it got a mention in the article.

My partner and I had an incredible meal their earlier this summer - a tangy BBQ chicken breast atop fresh vegetables with a bottle of crisp Sauvignon Blanc, followed by a delicious apple crisp. They managed to make a traditional summer meal taste like a high-end delicacy, all in a warm atmosphere staffed by friendly, knowledgeable folks.

Blue Eyed Mary's is incredible. I've eaten there twice now, great value for a fine dining menu.

Doc Morgan's is infamous for terrible service and bad quality food. I've never had a good eating experience there. Blue Eyed Mary's, Tuscany, and Artisan Eats, on the other hand, are all great choices for dining on bowen.

^I'll second that. I have suffered rude treatment there - and the food was wildly overpriced and mediocre-tasting. Definitely a step down from the previous owners.

For shame!

Also Bowfest is on all day Saturday. I'm looking after the baby goats in the petting zoo!
