View Full Version : Booth and Wellington...what are they building?

Just curious if anyone on here knows what's going on at Booth and Wellington, as it looks like they are getting ready to build some structures there...as well as update some things like buried hydro, etc.

Any thoughts?

Something to do with the the Lemieux Island filtration plant upgrade? :shrug:

Or more Claridge development?

Which corner are you referring to? If it is the southeast corner, then they are probably preparing it for the Canadian Firefighters Memorial (http://www.cfff.ca/memorial/memorial_e.php)

on second thought, that's one block farther east. However the northeast corner is supposed to be another commemorative site

IT has something to do with Lemieux Island filtration plant. They are building or upgrading a regulator in that area.......thas what the sign at the site says comming from Booth.

Oh ok cool...I thought perhaps something else might have been going on there...will have to wait for Lebreton Flats to expand in the future instead
