Oh I realized who the realtor is...I've gone past the property a couple of times and wondered if the realtor is who I thought it was. Verbal approval..that is a classic...as if anybody would buy a property based on a 'verbal approval'

If I were to get approval by October 25, I'd be applying now.:banana:

She is Mayor Quimby...er I mean Mayor Larry O'Brien's wife. I thought she mainly specialized in individual homes, but in this case she is trying to sell currently vacant land within Kanata West that apparently has verbal agreement for a 32 storey building.

A verbal agreement from the City of Ottawa and $2 will still buy you a small coffee.

Well, I'm guessing Kanata West is the Corel Centre and Palladium auto park, the future Tanger outlet mall and the south west part where its hard to distinguish where Kanata ends and Stittsville begins.

It's just a guess, I really have no idea.

Kanata West would be anything West of Terry Fox. It includes new developments in SOHO West, the large new neighbourhood at the end of Maple Grove, as well as the area surrounding Scotiabank Place.

It's the SBP, Palladium Automall, Fairwinds, Carp River, Tanger, Minto Arcadia, Hazeldean big box etc area.. here are a couple of maps for reference. Lots of controversy over the floodplain in this area that has caused delays for development.
