Its a 4 or 5 phase project (5 buildings total at least). So probably only a single crane for now.

Enmax will be building their plant immediately west of Canada Malting. This crane is south of 42nd Ave, at 15a St. S.E., which puts it on the Bonnybrook wastewater facilities property. Definitely not Enmax, rather some kind of infrastructure for Bonnybrook waste treatment.

A couple of things
1. There is one of those small cranes setup at the Quarry Park (QP) apartment style condos (not Champagne but the ones off of 18st). I'm not sure of the name of the condos and can't seem to find them in Google. I know these type have been counted before so I thought I'd mention it

2. And, all the parts for a regular tower crane are on site at a commercial building excavation site also in Quarry Park. It is just south of Jacobs. Unlike all the other commercial developments there, this one is a mystery as it has no signage at all. I think that this would be the first development in QP to have a full size crane.

I should also mention that a few weeks ago, at another completed excavation site in QP (this one north of the new Telvent building). There was a large party tent erected for the day. Again, no signage on this development either. Currently, there is no further activity on this site - just a cleaned out hole. What was interesting about this one was that the tent was setup at the same time that some fellow forumer mentioned that Imperial Oil was going to announce they future office plans.

Looks like two of the south campus buildings at QP are going up at same time. One tower crane could probably support both. Can't remember if the Jacobs buildings had a tower crane. QP really seems to be taking off.

Geez 38 cranes, with more on the horizon. I see at least two for City Center and one for Fuze. Also we should be seeing some for IOL in QP. I would guess at least three minimum.

I was just looking at Edmonton's crane count and it's at 7 with 2 more on the horizon. Considering Calgary had supposedly overbuilt in the last boom, I'd say we are doing pretty well.
