hmm, the regular timer is back on for the canucks game.
Also why complain about "Louu" now? It's been 4 years, i'm sure most people should kno it doesnt mean "boo", heck even people in the streets of toronto were "louing" during the olympics.
LOVING Lapierre, he's chirping and he's hitting!

"Lou" doesn't confuse me but it is bothersome. I would be totally fine with it if it only happened after great, or even just good saves, but I hear it every time he touches the puck, and sometimes even when he doesn't!
It could be an icing that he sticks his paddle out to stop and shovel behind the net..."LOOOUUUUUUU!!!!" Ridiculous.

Sedins only played around 16-17 minutes, compared to 23+ for the hawks top line and duncan Keith with 28 minutes!
Canucks 47+ hits compared to 21 from the hawks.

Hate the Habs all you want, but your team is at the bottom once again and just celebrated a 1st overall pick. I was shocked even Hall, the so called franchise player, was happy about the mediocrity of the team.
For the record, 30th is almost the polar opposite of "mediocrity". The Flames were mediocre this season (overall). The Oil were just plain terrible.

Oh, and Canucks fans saying "Luuuuuuuuuuuuuu".. :facepalm
Every time I hear it I think they're booing a save by their own goalie..
Don't worry, within a day or two you'll be corrected by a Canucks fan explaining that they're actually cheering for Luongo, because shit, it's fucking amazing that he actually touched the puck after that near icing.
Honestly, I'd like to pretend I'm kidding but I've actually had this happen at least twice on these forums. Yeah, thanks helmets, but we do understand what you're parroting - we just think it's retarded. And it still sounds like booing regardless of how much you seem to ignore the rhyming.

I've never seen hockey fans call the police after one of their players gets injured.
Every single team has some dumb fans. While you know what I think of the hit, calling the police was extremely stupid.
However that story was great exagerated by medias like it's always the case when it comes to the Habs. A few fans called the police so EVERY Habs fan called 911 according to the medias.
A few hooligans used the big crowd of Habs fans celebrating a series win to rob stores so therefore it's Habs fans who did it according to the medias.
People should understand that a few people does not mean the whole fan base.

There is a difference between criminal charges and fans calling 911. Criminal charges are fairly common especially in Canada. Just think of Bertuzzi who played for Vancouver at that time.
Dino Ciccarelli was sentenced 1 day in jail because he hit a Leaf player with his stick.
Marty McSorley was found guilty in BC court for assault with a weapon for his cheapshot on Brashear who played for the Canucks at that time.
And BTW-Naslund only missed 2 games due to a concussion from the Moore hit (which led to the disgusting cheapshot we all know). I didn't hear anyone saying the medical staff was faking the injury to have Moore suspended...
Pacioretty has now been out for more than a month so the team is obviously faking the injury.

Kane is much more effective in the regular season and really byfuglien is really only great to use against teams that can't clear him.
