hmm, the regular timer is back on for the canucks game.

Also why complain about "Louu" now? It's been 4 years, i'm sure most people should kno it doesnt mean "boo", heck even people in the streets of toronto were "louing" during the olympics.

"Lou" doesn't confuse me but it is bothersome. I would be totally fine with it if it only happened after great, or even just good saves, but I hear it every time he touches the puck, and sometimes even when he doesn't!

It could be an icing that he sticks his paddle out to stop and shovel behind the net..."LOOOUUUUUUU!!!!" Ridiculous.

Great win by the Canucks!
Started off strong with hits and energy, died down a bit in the second, but held off the ahwks in the third.

The hawks top line is going to get worned outby the end of game two with this pace.

Those "fans" leaving early want to beat traffic!

Sedins only played around 16-17 minutes, compared to 23+ for the hawks top line and duncan Keith with 28 minutes!

Canucks 47+ hits compared to 21 from the hawks.

Hate the Habs all you want, but your team is at the bottom once again and just celebrated a 1st overall pick. I was shocked even Hall, the so called franchise player, was happy about the mediocrity of the team.

For the record, 30th is almost the polar opposite of "mediocrity". The Flames were mediocre this season (overall). The Oil were just plain terrible.

There is a difference between criminal charges and fans calling 911. Criminal charges are fairly common especially in Canada. Just think of Bertuzzi who played for Vancouver at that time.
Dino Ciccarelli was sentenced 1 day in jail because he hit a Leaf player with his stick.
Marty McSorley was found guilty in BC court for assault with a weapon for his cheapshot on Brashear who played for the Canucks at that time.

And BTW-Naslund only missed 2 games due to a concussion from the Moore hit (which led to the disgusting cheapshot we all know). I didn't hear anyone saying the medical staff was faking the injury to have Moore suspended...

Pacioretty has now been out for more than a month so the team is obviously faking the injury.:rolleyes:

We played the B's in 2002, 2004, 2008 and 2009. This series will be the 5th meeting in 9 years.

Byfuglien over Kane? :O
Kane is much more effective in the regular season and really byfuglien is really only great to use against teams that can't clear him.
Not to mention Kane brings in the marketing dough.

Good win for the canucks, 85 hits in the game, Luongo seemed shaky at times.

Kane is ok, but I have a hard time thinking of him as a "special" player. With Hossa and Toews they should have it covered.

They're just a... lame team with bad goaltending. At least last year they were a multi-faceted team with bad goaltending.

Canucks are a better team than last year, no question. And Chicago is not the same team, but I wouldn`t count Chicago out yet. They were quite a bit better last night than game 1, and everyone knows a series hasnt started until you lose on home ice. If Vancouver gets a split in Chicago, its over, but Im not convinced its going to be that easy.

Chicago can still play with the Canucks.

Philly came back after being down 3-0 in the series, and 3-0 in game 4.
In the playoffs anything can happen.

As long as Boston stops making Price look good by shooting at his logo, and actually step up their game, they definitely could take it. They're a much better overall team.

I tuned in at the beginning of the second (wasn't expecting a matinee game in the freaking playoffs) and Detroit was putting on a clinic. When that team is going they are a treat to watch. It was a decent comeback effort by the Coyotes, but if they can't score 5 on 5 they have no chance of beating Detroit.

BTW, I missed the hit on Franzen. I know I'll see it later, but was it dirty or just unfortunate?

Looks like Boston is pretty much done but it's not impossible for them to comeback and win it.

I was kind of hoping that Buffalo would be Philly again but no such luck. It was a close game though.

I didn't say that's why they lost, they lost because they're playing terribly.

The reffing was ridiculously one sided though. At least in the first half.

I have to admit, the Habs are making Boston look like crap. After all weren't we supposed to get sweep by Washington and Pittsburgh last year?:shrug:

I told you guys several times that the coach is responsable for a few losses this season so the Habs being up 2-0 should not be that much of a surprise (a little one sure but not a huge upset).

And the Bruins may be the biggest team but we are more skilled than they are.
