Midland is on hold until Thanksgiving weekend as I am out of inspiation for it until I gain inspiration. So I am creating a new Project.
The Windrix inc office complex was designed by my fantasy architectural firm(no name yet) for Windrix Inc, a Oil Company. The Complex will consist of 5 buildings and will be for 4-12 floors for each building.I want this to be a highly detailed project.
Here is a sneak peak:
I did not add the details yet. If I think a building is high quality enough I may propose it to Newport City.

Thanks!
Anyway I completed the entrance facade on the one building. I will still have to edit a few things, and a few more, but here it is. I now have to add the materials, and still have to finsh the overall building.

I'm thinking adding one more facade thing on the middle floor, and right in the middle of building.
hope you like! What do you think so far?
oh and I just did the entrance. This is the only thing that I did on the building so far.And in case anyone was wondering this is a foor/floor building.

Anyway Here is the facade for the entrance. These are probably the materials I'll use.

Another render using Kerky:

And it seems like the other part of the building is starting construction:

Please comments/ suggestion to make my renders better.Which renderer do you like better? Kerky or Indigo?

Looks great! I really like the facade, but whay you changed the design in the second part of the building. These collums are totaly oversized and dont fit with your facade... ?

Oh I just wanted to show the beams inside the building. They will be completely covered when I do the facade on the side. Don'tcha worry!

Thanks! But remember, it's not one building, but 4 buildings. This project could take me a while.
Your buildings would look awsome rendered! I would either stick to indigo or Kerkythea.I personally prefer Indigo becuase it works inside Google Skecthup and overall I think it is easier than Kerkythea. Oh and they both are free programs.Indigo takes FOREVER to render(10 hours!) while kerkythea can take from5 seconds to 45 minutes.
Anyways my next update will probably be tomorrow.

Ok guys, thanks for your comments!
I finished the right side of the building:

also I just wanted to say that this building is just not a box, I still have many other things to add to it. There are setbacks and more outcomes to the buildings.
I'm really liking how my render came out.Though I think I added to much reflection.

The building's completion should be done by the end of this month. The whole Complex should be finished around March.

for such a simple building, you seem to be going about it in a hard way.
By right you could do a single floor with its facade and select ,copy
and type 2x(or3x etc) and you have the same building in half the time.
I can do you a little tutorial that makes doing building piss easy.I use
the same method all the time.:)

Ahh now I get it! Yes the method I use right now is more time consuming. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!I'll use it for my next building!
Thank you so much!
And for the simple part... I wanted this project to be simple but elegant. You know what I mean?

Ok guys, as I am now 95% done with the first building(still need to add about half of the rest of the back facade), so I am planning for the second building. This one will be ALOT MORE COMPLEX and will most likely be around 10-12 floors. It will be more of a modern building as well as all the other buildings. I'm not sure how the facade will look like, but I should be able to give you a little sneak peak of the new building in a few weeks.

Ok here are the final renders for the first building in the complex. It is now complete!
Since the first building is complete I'm thinking where I should place this complex. I have now decided. It will be somewhere on highway 401 in Ontario Canada, or the QEW in Ontario, Canada. It should also be near Kitchener/St Catherines/Hamilton area. Now I have to figure out where on the 401 near those places.

When I find out exactly where this complex will be placed on the 401/ QEW I will show a google earth shot to show the exact place.
Now onto the second building which will be around 8/10 floors.

toronto area?? nice!! I'l probably have "driven" past this a bunch of times if its right on one of those highways.

Yeah I thought this complex felt like it belonged on highway 401 or the QEW. I drive up to Canada ( well not me, my family) about 5 times a year to visit family. So I knew that the 401 and QEW has lots of complexes like mine so i thought I would place it along there..........

Ok so here is the progress of the building. It is only 7 floors( including the entrance which I didn't construct yet.) and the 8th/ final floor should be topped out by tomorrow. Now remember, this building is just not a square. There will be other things to it.
I still have to edit the facade so it isn't the same for each floor, but here is the basic layout of it. Also I didn't add a core to it since it only has 7 floors to it.
