Hi everyone,
Two urban design and heritage related events taking place this weekend. Both are a part of the Ottawa version of Jane's Walk. The first is a kick-off fund raising event at Raw Sugar cafe near Bronson and Somerset on Thursday. It is a panel discussion about the idea's of Jane Jacobs and how they can relate to Ottawa design issues: http://janeswalkottawa.eventbrite.com Technically the event is free, but as its goal is fundraising a $10 donation is suggested.
Then of course the weekend is packed with a diversity of walking tours around Ottawa. The full list is on the website:

I'm planning to volunteer/attend a few of the walks on both days. Hope some of your forumers can make it out!
