As the topic says, kind of a random question... does anyone know if there's anywhere in London (ideally downtown if there's more than one place that you know of) where you can get good Montreal-style bagels? I'm looking at you, Molson Export.

Answer: Nowhere can you get Montreal-quality bagels in London. Best that I have had here is "the great canadian bagel" and they were not that great.

I would love to find some Montreal style bagels here in Windsor too, they're so much better than regular bagels.

I have a craving for Montreal bagels AND smoked meat that can only be satisfied by visiting La Ville Marie once or twice a year. Apparently there used to be a Jewish deli in London some time ago, and they were supposed to be pretty decent. Unfortunately they've closed down, and the bagels have gone with them.
Why don't you ask habfanman? I'm sure he'd have an informative comment to make on the subject at hand.

^he'll certainly take any opportunity to rage against Toronto/Ontario.
Ontario is mostly NY style bagels. You can get Montreal style in West Hamilton (big Jewish community there) and in Ottawa, but other than that I don't know and haven't seen them.
