Here's a Youtube video I saw that I think would give a pretty good idea of how the LTC's proposed BRT system might be configured (if it ever gets implemented!)
Rather than dedicated busways like the ones increasingly being seen in Europe, we'll probably just see exclusive ROW lanes added to our existing streets.

That would be a good plan for quick implementation, but since all of London's major arterials seem to be capped at 4 lanes, it would just create a whole new set of problems by turning throughfares into clones of Hyde Park Road.

Yes, London doesn't have many roads that would allow for such a system.
I think a better and much more affordable option would be a system similar to Vancouver's B-Lines.
Articulated buses with distinct colours, distinct rapid transit station on transit maps to clearly differentiate it, all entry POP payment, proper shelters, frequen service, small bus only sections during rush hours, and limited stops of approx one per km. It has been implemented across the city very quickly and affordably and all the lines have been extremely successful.
As I have said before, I still think London's first priority should be extending service hours to atleast 1:30am on a few select routes.

Express Bus Routes are the answer for London.
Have major crosstown routes, 2 Dundas, 4 Oxford East, 6 Richmond, 13 Wellington, 15 Westmount, 17 Oxford. Have buses only stop at major intersections or points of interest. This is something that doesn't require any infrastructure changes/costs, moves people more quickly and efficiently.
Why the LTC doesn't get on that, but adds stupid milk runs to Lambeth or whatever is poor business planning.

The name has been changed to Hyde Park (road has been dropped) on account of the state of traffic on weekends along this stretch.
One giant linear parking lot.

I would also have accepted Hyde Parking Lot. Or the Liver & Onions Lot.

Considering that the route just starts up again at 5:30 or so, it might be more efficient to have 24-hour service instead. You could run the buses at a frequency of about 1 per hour across 5 major routes of your choosing on weekdays.

It's not quite that bad, but it is bad. I tried plodding my way between Oxord and Sarnia during Rush Hour (big mistake), and I think the average speed was hovering around 15 KM/h. I'd hate to see it on weekends if it was worse than that.

^it is that bad on weekends. I live in the land of liver & onions, and lemme tell ya, I got caught in 20-minute+ jams along that very stretch. Really bad between Oxfart and Sarsnia...often up until Gainsbarfough. Makes Wonderbread Road look like a German Autobahn.
The Stupidstore and Walfart nexis.

...you seem to really hate that area. Wouldn't your commute be so much more pleasant living on the East side of the University? We DO have Kipps Lane, but the upside of that is no SmartCentres or Walmarts.

^not a fan of EofA. I did live in Westmount for a year (Across from namesake mall)...not too bad, but far from the uni. I can (and often do) walk to work. plus the wife wanted a new home (our first house...me I like trees and oldness but opposites attract). put it all together and Hyde Park (they certainly hid the park) was the choice. Six years ago, there was far less traffic on Hyde Parkinglot road. Low-blahs was in place of Stupidstore. Walfart was not a stupidcentre. The dumbcentre was mostly unbuilt.
Yes, by moving there, I realize that I am part of the problem.
