Excellent thread!
What is the building with the seahorses featured in the ornamentation? It reminded me of the architectural details on the Shedd Aquarium.

Flat out incredible! Talk about showing off Chicago on a different angle. WOW!

Where to begin?

• those town houses across the North Branch from the Mart may well be the strangest looking structures in the city

• I have never seen a picture from the marina of Marina City; what a great place to capture the riverfront.

• you had about the best angle I've ever seen on the glass panel interplay on the Sperteus.

• Roosevelt U should pay you big bucks for the juxtipostion of the Auditorium and the university's new tower; classic shot

• What could be better for Halloween than all those nooks and crannies and entrances and exits of the underworld of Lower Wacker.

• our toddling' town is one in a million. look at all those fabulous places you've managed to show without once including one of those obligatory pictures of the lakefront. Chicago's greatness goes on undiminished even when one is well removed from the lake and a view of it.

And that's just a start; way, way too much good stuff to comment on.

^Great observations, edsg25, many thanks.
The seahorses are from the restored facades as part of the Heritage at Millennium Park at about 130 N. Wabash. Similar to the Legacy they did a nice job preserving the old character of Wabash Ave.

Thanks for all the appreciative comments, it's great to hear it from everyone.

I always enjoy a tour that begins at the inner town
