I haven't seen anyone post about this so I got as much information as I could find and I am posting it myself (sorry if I don't do it right). The plan is for a 7 storey, 44 unit apartment building with ground floor commercial. It is going to be located on the corner of Highway No. 8 and Ellington Ave. on the land that is currently 315 and 319 Highway No. 8.

I seem to recall that this proposal was approved by the city back in late 2010. Looked on the website and found the staff report:

Not sure if there is a more recent status update or any building permits issued yet.

theres a new sign up now and a bulldoser on the site there were also 2 trucks eith trailers there today i have a feeling construction is gonna start soon.
