Construction group selected to build $45M Dream Dallas Hotel

McKinney Hotel Developers LLC has selected Dallas-based Hyphen Construction Group Inc. to build the $45 million Dream Dallas Hotel.

The hotel is scheduled to break ground in summer and open in December 2015. Hyphen will be involved in all phases of the project including architecture, design, purchasing and construction.

The 16-story hotel, which will be at 3207 McKinney Ave. in Uptown, will have 128 rooms as well as restaurants and meeting rooms. It will feature a restaurant on the ground level, a lofted pool deck with adjacent lounge overlooking the city skyline.

1) the number of rooms will increase from 128 to 254 rooms, 2) the overall floor area will increase from 89,250 square feet to 195,302 square feet
4) provide all parking underground.
In addition, the proposed hotel development is limited to a maximum structure height to 155 feet.

It is also noted the outdoor pool will be located on the hotel's top floor.
