View Full Version : Refurbished Buildings

There are many buildings that were refurbished beyond recognition, some of these buildings include Trump International Hotel and Tower, Singapore Land Tower and UOB Plaza 1.

Well, the problem is, especially for the Singapore Land and UOB Plaza, is that the building's height was increased, by adding tops and additional floors. So If the diagram is supposed to be the newest version, when should the completed date be? At the end of the real construction, or at the end of the major makeover?

Usually, it would be the date of completion of the construction itself, but what if the building changes altogether, like new cladding, or incresed floor count and heights, which date and diagram should be more important? Do we seperate them into two diagrams?

i think dylan was working on a "last reconstruction date" form, which would help you

Just make sure you explain everything in the building's description!

A better solution would be to add another building for the old versions, with new category "pre-renovation" That way you could still see what it used to look like
