Has anyone heard of this? I saw it in another forum.

I cut and pasted what a member there posted. Remember this is not from me, just pasting what he/she posted. Any comments?

here it is...

New Atlantic Center Tower to break ground 4-15-2004

This is going to be an amazing tower called "Twelve".
It is a mixed use boutique hotel along with condominiums. It will be 44 stories.
I received this information from Fred Tharpe who is a developer with Home Depot who knows the developer Anne Rubio of the Novare Group.
I have seen the rendering, and let me tell you, it is "stunning".
I will scan the rendering later this week and put it here.
It will be 625 feet, with four spires that will be lit at night.
Two at the end of each side of the tower.
Atlanta, is on the verge of an enormous building BOOM> You have no idea what is about to happen.

This is absolute BS on several fronts...

1. I happened to run into Jim Borders, the owner of Novare Group on Tuesday night. We talked about his two pending projects - 860 Peacthree and the Civic Center MARTA site.

2. To meet the 4-15-2004 deadline they would first need an SAP, then building permits. This takes no less than 5 months. No SAP has been even filed for, not to mention granted.

3. The third building site at Atlantic Center is controlled by Pope and Land. They do have plans for an office tower on the site, NOT Novare.

Sure, I could be wrong, but I'm NOT. Is this from Yalegrad?
