Preeetty. Maybe it should be a bit darker/bluer though.
James Raymond

^ I wasn't sure on that. However, if it really got any darker, it would start to "clash" with the bracing on the windows. Anyways, thanks.

I haven't found any decent rendering that shows the facade up close. The description says white facade, but nothing in terms of what type of windows, so your guess is as good as mine. If I can find a better picture, I'll change it.:)

Sears is good but missing any sign of glass shimmer, if you know what I mean. There's no real noticeable difference between the steel and glass.

Fair enough, James. It'd definitely be a very, very difficult rendering to get properly, especially with the angles and, as you said, the shadows...
Of course, since it's now "next year", let's get cracking! :) :) :)

Good James, though I don't really think Metlife is a building that should be drawn at an angle... just gets weird and takes a bit of time realizing it's not just a poorly proportioned diagram. Also - important note - Metlife is now white after a recent cleaning.

The Key Tower rendering is well done, but a tad on the thin side and the crown section just seems a little off. The proportions on the current rendering by F16 are pretty accurate. Just a little more tweaking and I think you'll have it.

Good job, but it definitely needs to be bluer, and the windows (esp by the top) take on the appearance of slits in concrete - they need to be blended better with the facade.

I did the B of A as more of a request and sort of as a place-holder. Frank is working on a better diagram of it, I believe. I think it needs to be bluer as well, but with a couple of the renderings I had, it was somewhat green.:)

Very nice shadowing and shape, but once again WAY too wide. Just curious, how do you estimate the width of a building? You know, window and segment heights don't always work out to even 1 or 2 pixel lengths. Sometimes you must sacrifice by resizing to get it accurate.
