Here's the origin of the rumour :
According to a moderator of Skyscrapers.cn the final height of this wonder has been raised to 288.8 m
I like the precision of the new height figure. It adds credibility.

I'm going to say it probably won't change, but this being Shanghai anything is possible.
If it does reach 288.8m, it will add incredible depth and shape to the Pudong Skyline.

We need to put out a search party for acvellvs and giallo. Those guys used to provide updates on this one and all the other interesting tower designs in Lujiazui.

Nice find Fabb! BTW, in a related update, there is a lot more glass on the backside of the Development Tower (to the Jasper's right). I was pleasantly surprised to see that the other day when I was lurking around those parts.

Yeah, the Development Tower is turning out to be the real winner in this area of Lujiazui.
Jasper looks good here though. I'm just not a big fan of the glass colour.

Holy shit, it's almost finished!
Although, I'm still not impressed by the colour of the glass. The Development Tower looks more exciting from this perspective imo.

Totally. I'm disappointed with the Jasper Tower. They blew it with the glass colour.
