City Compilations is a forum for posting city/metro compilation threads.

*You must check the city compilations list BEFORE creating a thread.

*If a city already has a thread for it, then you are not permitted to create a new one. Post your information in the existing thread, and the thread creator will update the first post.

*ALL threads must begin with some sort of listing of the projects discussed within... The existing Chicago or Philly rundown threads are both excellent examples, though others are not required to be that elaborate.

*This means that the thread's creator must be prepared to monitor the thread, and regularly update it longterm.

***DO NOT CREATE A THREAD FOR A CITY UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED FOR THESE RESPONSIBILITIES. PEOPLE WHO CREATE THREADS AND THEN DO NOT MAINTAIN THEM WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO CREATE FUTURE THREADS IN THE P&C FORUMS***

*Within the threads, ALL urban structures under development within the topic city/metro are acceptable...

*However, construction progress is discouraged. More specifically, we prefer that construction progress for the major projects be handled within a thread about that project, and then linked into the comp thread's development list. Smaller projects which may not be 'grand' enough to sustain its own thread can of course be posted about within a thread here. The logic is, this subforum is for tracking general development, not necessarily for intensive discussions of individual projects.

*Additional threads discussing individual projects relating to a city are encouraged to be created and then linked to a city's rundown list, regardless of whether they are posted in the P&C group, or even in a regional (though that too is discouraged)...

*MAJOR local projects, such as mass transit, major bridges, museums, parks, observation decks and such that will have a significant local impact are also acceptable to discuss. (things like antennae, guyed masts, etc need to be posted in the Buildings and Architecture forum or the appropriate regional forum)

(note that a handful of the most active cities may warrant the creation of multiple compilation threads for their varying districts)
