Looks great. Can't wait to see them finished. They will be some really nice additions to the Bellevue skyline.

I was told that BT's condos aren't selling very well and that they are going to lease out the units in the south tower until the economy improves. Anybody know if that's true and what percentage of the north tower has been sold?

I have verified time and time again with Bellevue Towers that this is a rumor, and completely untrue.
They are selling on pace with the current Downtown Bellevue market trends. Probably not as many as they would like to sell, but no less than the other complexes. Bellevue Towers has sold about 40% of the inventory to date. Buyers will be able to move in in November through the beginning of '09.
update on bellevue towers - almost ready for occupancy on the lower levels...

bellevue towers begin occupancy on the lower floors up to level 22 while construction continues above. pretty sweet place for people with the amenify floor, garden, and a hip restaurant moving in at the ground floor.
there was an article in the Seattle PI that looked at some towers in Bellevue and Seattle, and the Bellevue Towers actually got some good press.

I would definitely have to say those are my two favorite towers in Bellevue, they came out looking really good....at least the hand full of shots make them look good.

There's 2 really big trees on the PSE property that will be a bummer to see them chop them down.
But at least we'll get 2 really cool skyscrapers in exchange. :D
I miss the two trees. :(

Rendering vs reality.

BTW I'm getting tired of this new trend toward overly-conspicuous window-washer masts at the top of new buildings.
me too! there is a better way to do this, but it requires a crane basically retracted into the center of the tower...worth the money if you ask me!

I have to say, this project came out looking just like the renderings...it is almost always good to see that happen...far too often do they tend to fudge the truth or lie a bit in the renderings.
