Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): - In front of the main entrance is the Centennial Fountain, a semicircular cascade with a water arch that shoots across the river hourly during warm months.
- The mechanical penthouse on top has a tiered "wedding cake" structure with exposed truss bracing.
- The tower is rotated 45° with respect to the street grid, thereby doubling the number of windows with direct river views. River East Center, a newer building one block north, is also turned 45°.
