but I'm still not really satisfied with the diagram and wanted to try a completely new style.

What do you think?

Gulcrapek
Jun 30, 2003, 4:54 PM
I like it, but the brightness at top makes it lose the center edge a bit, not as sharp. And it's not the right color. But it's definitely a great glass job.

I got one request can you draw BOC?????

Taylordaman
Jul 13, 2003, 7:09 AM
Oh my God!!!!!!!! That is awsome. The only thing I have to say is the top clouds reflect on both sides when the other side should reflect a whole different part of the sky. Just thought I'd point that out.
Lmichigan I see how you can think that but I think it 100% drawn.

But excellent drawing.

Jai-C
Jul 13, 2003, 10:06 AM
Thanks a lot :)

I really spent much time on the glass reflection of this one. I used
more than 20 layers to create that background effect... and as it seems
it almost looks like a photography now.

John Hinds
Jul 13, 2003, 11:31 AM
The building only has 3 sides, your drawing looks like you've drawn it as a 4 sided building.

And the base is way too dark. This building sits in a very open area of the city so light reaches the entrance to the building all day long.

LMich
Jul 13, 2003, 1:08 PM
Johnny, there really isn't a good way to draw a three sided building. It looks like a triangle to me, though. You can see it if you look closely, how the right side kind of comes in.

John Hinds
Jul 13, 2003, 1:18 PM
All the other angled drawings of this building look 3 sided.

The angle of the sides of his drawing are the same angles you would use for a 4 sided building.

LMich
Jul 13, 2003, 1:28 PM
Seriously, look at these diagrams and tell me which one looks the most triangular. Almost all of the angled ones look to have the same angle. His is no different. Maybe he could make the right side a little darker to show that it comes in more, but that's about it.

I have updated my own andromeda for my personal diagram but without the slightest hope to get into the main diagram. :)

Only one point - the three large windows (?) of the Andromeda Tower are a bit too low. Paste them a bit higher with 2 stories distance between them.

They didn't give out the height of the buildings only the floor count. Two of the buildings have 35 floors and the two other buildings have 30 floors.

So why should I do another one, when there are so many buildings left without any diagram at all? I'm already busy with filling up all those german cities :(

Buck
Aug 22, 2003, 2:09 PM
I don't like my drawing. You don't have too draw the building though. I was just wondering, cos you could make that building look like it should instead of all flat and dull like mine.

But I understand.

We could make a little exchange - help me with a german building that is missing (just choose one) and I'll do the One City Center for you :)
