I think you have the steel reversed on the Bank of America tower. The tower part of the building is just starting to rise above ground now (1 or 2 floors).
JACKinNYC
03-27-2006, 11:01 PM
You beat me to the same comment, amaddry. For some reason they're building part of the tower portion ahead of the other half. Doesn't make much sense to me, but that's the way it is.

Excellent. Finally the FT is going up. Look at how massive it will be compared to the Orion on 42nd, and that is a big tower.

04-28-2006, 06:37 PM
By the way, Infinity II in Miami is in no way under construction. Infinity I has started work but not infinity II (it still has previous buildings standing on the site). Just another one of those instances where "Infinity" breaks ground so emporis lists both towers as being U/C when they are only working at one at a time.

Forget Orion, compare it to 7WTC

Forget Orion, compare it to 7WTC
Yeah JM, but when its done it will be easy to compare the two. Besides it just gives you an idea of how huge it is to compare it to something in midtown that I already thought was pretty large.

is fordham spire GOING to be built?
there is absolutely no way to know that at this point. maybe it will, maybe it won't. the signs are all pointing in a positive direction, but any number of things could still easily derail it at this point.
