you are one of the best illustrators on SSP,
but why you do not draw US buildings ?, there a lot of great buildings which are undrawn or which need better drawings.

I will:) but not now
and why I do not draw US buildings ?
because I think there are so many good illustrators draw US diagrams, like u and Matthew Dumont.

thanks, i understand you,

but i am not so good illustrator, i draw a lot of boxes and easy buildings, but with quality and better then the previous drawings.
i have problems with glass-buildings, clouds on buildings and so on, i can´t do that and i have no time to learn it, not now, sometime later.
and thats why i contact you, because you are very good in that stuff.

my goal is to draw all US Buildings over 100 meters, i have already draw 200 buildings, but there are still 500 buildings left that need to be drawn :D
it would take me another 2 years to complete that task.
and circa 1000 buildings have incorrect height informatons, which would take me again 2 years to correct it. :hell:

i need always 1/2 to 1 hour for a drawing of a boxtype-building and 1 to 1 1/2 for a complex-shaped-bulding, yeah thats a lot of time.

what´s about you, how much time need you for a drawing ?

Cool! Especially like the New Town Towers.

Ever considered doing digrams for India or any African country?

Well, I can get exhausted for weeks, even after drawing only one building. Especially when I'm disappointed with the drawing. Usually it's the resizing I'm disappointed with.

Oh, and cool drawings from Astana:)! Not everyday a building from that part of the World get's a SSP drawing.

vid Oct 2, 2012 11:07 PM

You make Triumph of Astana look much better than it does in close up photos.

I have some condition always make me disappointed

1.spending a lot of time to find the facade because the imformation of the building is rare. especially chinese diagrams

2.spending too much time to draw a diagram.like" Triumph of Astana"

3.when the diagram finish, but is ugly or not I want.

Well, you're always youself's worst critic. I can't say I ever seen a drawing by you that didn't look good.

Because it is something that you made, you can see all the parts where you couldn't quite get things right. Part of my job involves graphic design and there have been many times where not only have I had something I couldn't get right, but when I pointed out the mistake to the customer, they didn't care. They were just too excited to see what I had made for them.

But it's good that you're not settling. In the future your skills will be better and you can revisit past diagrams and improve them.

Fantastic drawings!

Not only are you the most active illustrator these days, but all of your drawings also have an excellent quality!
