Drive-Through Buildings?

I drove through New York City for the first time in my life the other day. The most interesting part of the drive (for me at least) was driving through (literally) a building in the middle of Park Avenue. Apparently, its called the Helmsley Building. With that said, are there any other buildings around the world in which you can drive through it?

Chicago's Post Office is rather famous.

There's lot of places with things like rail lines going through buildings.

:previous:

the chicago post office was the first building i thought of. i remember going through the tunnel as a kid and being in awe that they build such a massive structure over the highway.

can't think of any drive-through buildings in boise, but we do have plenty of people that attempt it, anyway...

You also sort of drive through or under the foyer for the North Bridge Mall, which faces Michigan Avenue but spans Grand Avenue in Chicago.

Yes, The Helmsley is one of my personal favorites.

A pic for people who don't know what you're referring to.

Not exactly drive-through, but does monorail-through count?

Winston-Salem has a bike-through building. It was built over a bike path in 1987-1989. The architects designed a tunnel with the building's main entrance on the bike path and a covered place to secure bicycles, around 1987!

I biked this path on a cool and cloudy day, about 13 years ago, and took this photograph.

when i was in high school a couple of ceiling panels fell onto I-195, which runs right beneath the building. traffic was a nightmare for months after that...
