Your city's future skyline

Some people were complaining that future skyline renderings shouldn't be posted in the "Photoshopped SKYLINES" thread, so I've made this separate thread for those posts.

London 2012

London is like the Dubai of Europe at the moment. It has around 30 proposed skyscrapers over 150m,
including the supertall London Bridge Tower (306m) and the Bishopsgate Tower (288m).

Prior to 1999, it had just two skyscrapers. Below are some renderings I've done over the last year or so
(the first pic shows the current skyline).

That's gonna make a drastric difference when all those towers are added.

Philadelphia -- Comcast Center, Mandeville Place.

I posted a similar image in the Comcast Center thread. This is a wider view.

New rendering I did today - full length pano which includes LBT on the far right; plus the colour and general appearance of the towers is more accurate:

Burj Dubai at the end of its concrete pour and transition to spire.
I didn't photoshop it, but it looks like it. I will put the steel structure that is supposed to be on the top when the mood strikes.

Really interesting technique, if you didn't use Photoshop.....what did you use?

A long time ago I saw a render of HK with all its current projects + the original fordham spire With rainbow colored lights going up the twists and the freedom tower and friends all situated on Kowlon. I don't remeber the site but at last check like a year ago the imiges were removed. Does anyone have the pic? It was amazing!!!

Downtown Phoenix in 2012:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...dfuturepan.jpg

From left to right, the projects depicted are:

32-story Phoenix Sheraton Hotel, 350' u/c
13-story twin Downtown ASU dorms, 161' u/c
26-story One Central Park East, 383' about to break ground
41-story Copper Pointe condo tower, 450' proposed
32-story Jet condo tower, 350' proposed
43-story Momentum Tower, 500' early proposal
34-story 44 Monroe condo tower, 378' u/c
35-story Cityscape Tower #2, 400' proposed
44-story Cityscape Tower #1, 525' about to break ground
34-story Omega condo tower, 380' proposed

There are a couple of smaller projects omitted from this rendering that are also under construction, including:

6-story Walker Cronkite School of Journalism, 100'
7-story Alta Phoenix apartments
Some other ASU infrastructure projects

In the fall, Maricopa County is supposed to break ground on a 16-story criminal courts tower (will be on the right side) for which we have no renderings yet.

These are all incredible and a lot of them just look so real. I have done some photo shopping myself that I think are at least decent. Well actually PS Proing :) and I might show them here later.

Here's a little somethin' I whipped up in my spare time. This is what the Los Angeles skyline will look like once Park Fifth, LA Live, Concerto (tower one), Hanover (wasn't topped off in the original photo), and LA Central are completed. The heights are a bit off, but the overall impact on the skyline is more or less the same.
