Seen it before but it looked thinner. It's okay though.

I recognize the sketches as those of Helmut Jahn right?

A little boxy to combine with that type of bracing, but an interesting exploration...

^ I agree.

The success of this building will come down to what kind of glass is used. I'll end up loving or hating it upon completion.

Nice atrium though.

I hope the car at the bottom of this pic isn't moving very fast. Otherwise, this shot does NOT have a happy ending.

I love the scale-like glass. It should look different (and amazing) from every angle.

I took these last weekend:

A major difference between the render and the (un)finished product is what appears to be a dark glazed blue glass at the base instead of super transparent, light glass. I really liked the transparency at the bottom and top of the design in the render. It helped to lighten the entire composition. What we're seeing here is technically transparent, but it appears a hell of a lot darker, which alters the balance of the tower altogether.

i don't like the facade's treatment of the cross bracing. if it's there, then highlight it - not cover it with an illusion.

Wow lots going on here. Tower is coming alone nicely. Looks kewl...

I agree.
I guess that the transparency will be revealed when it's lit up from within at night. Othewise, it's really dark and doesn't say much of the beautiful structure.

I dunno, I like the darkened glass at the bottom, gives the whole thing more gravitas imo.
