^ I don't think anything beats it really. As iconic as the Empire State is (I call it the world's greatest skyscraper) I don't think there's a building that has a stronger identity with the city of occupies.

Does anyone have a chart or height index, kind of like the Bank of America's where it shows the height dementions of this building. I am very curious as to where the 925 foot mark is.

Are there any photos of the Chrysler building before the spire but complete to the roof? I guess I am curious as to what it was actually supposed to look like without the spire at 925' before it was competing with the 927' 40 Wall Street in Lower Manhattan. :) |

The Chrysler, along with the Empire State Building and American International Building are the best Art Deco skyscrapers ever built!
