Except it would appear northwest of Legacy from this angle...note the position of Leo and United Building. Waterview would cover up where 300 N LaSalle is.

I don't mind the double-peak of Trump and Aon. What I'd really like to see from this angle is some more depth behind Equitable, IBM, and Leo. Legacy's lighting scheme looks great though, as does Trump's.

The Americans with Disabilities Act: making building entrances awkward and cluttered since 1990. ;)

One of my favorite new buildings. I actually prefer it over Aqua.

When I was in Chicago back in the summer of 2008, this tower was only 1/3 the way done, Id love to go back and see it and Trump now.

Pictures from my visit that I posted on here a long time ago.

Man, when I visited Chicago then, that summer was like the golden age of SSP, everything was happening then, the Chicago Spire wasnt dead yet, every city had tons of new towers proposed or under construction, it was just a hope filled place, then bam, it all went to the shitter quite quickly.

I remember all the Chicago threads then, you had The Chicago Spire, Legacy, Museum Park 1 and 2, BCBS expansion, eleysian, Trump, Aqua, and then that other 1000 some odd foot tower which is now just a parking garage podium, what was its name? Oh and then, there was the Mandarin Hotel, what ever happened to that one? Guess it died along with a bunch of other awesome approved towers.

I didn't know that AON hag got itself a tiny antenna.

Initially, I didn't really care for this building, but it has grown on me. It's so freaking sleek.

Chicago members - do they turn the blue lighting on every night? It looks fantastic.

I have to say, I think the Legacy might by one of my most favorite of the newer buildings in Chicago...I definitely love the fact that they saved the facades of the old buildings it sits inside. You almost never notice you are walking past it on Wabash.

Yes, but it's more of a yellowish white than blue.

Gotta hand it to SCB on this one. They managed to turn a really bulk tower into a total blade.
