Regina sure has a mighty impressive skyline for a city its size!

It sure does...and by the end of this year, there should be a couple new buildings showing up and making their presence known.

The crane is being assembled at the Harvard Tower 3. And Capital Pointe is going to be demoloshing the old plains in a couple weeks to begin that tower.

^ I would love to make it down next summer, if possible.

What I like about Regina, is cause it all of a sudden pops out of nowhere, it makes an impression on you.

I bet a lot of Saskatchewaners have been drawing comparisons between Calgary & Edmonton for how Sask's two big cities will evolve...seems to be a similar trend so far, with the northern cities larger, but the southern ones ultimately catching the corporate support and ultimately becoming bigger in the end. I suppose the difference here is Regina is the provincial capital vs Edmonton (south vs north for my hypothesis)

I really want to hit up Regina & Saskatoon.

There isn't much competition in Saskatchewan in respect to Regina's skyline. It now looks like it's Regina's time to shine, Saskaboom was so 90's!;)

Here are some of mine of Saskatoon - various times over the last 5 years.

Not to say Saskatoon is no slouch either, but Regina's is still stunning to me. It can contend with Winnipeg! (from a skyline perspective ;))

roccerfeller Jan 25, 2011 7:50 PM

Oh nice pics Migs!!!!

Love the mosaic shot

Winnipegger Jan 25, 2011 9:25 PM

Yup, gotta say that Regina has one nice skyline, especially for a city it's size. Aside from Halifax, I would say it's the best in its category. Keep up the good work guys, you're doing well! And nice pictures from everyone too!

Harvard 3 was reduced to 18 from 20.

Capital Pointe is 25.

Cantebury Tower is 27 (this is still just proposed).

Cranes at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon.
