Thanks for viewing!

only the prose from only the pros. always love your colors, flash, even if this set's got cardinal red in it. :yuck: those arch shots are sick, especially the DOF one focused on the grass.

looks like the stl twins got themselves a great little setup in there. awesome.

i thank you for visiting and (fantastically) photographing the independent republic of st louis city (IRSTLC). some nice lesser seen angles looking up mill creek valley.

It looked like a shot of the arch from some corn fields on the east side.

BTW Flash, what were you doing in Milstadt IL?

Oh, the colors and the sharpness and the vantage points! Incredible!

Buckeye Native 001 Sep 16, 2012 4:45 AM

Beautiful, even if you do have shots of a Cardinals game ;)

They are, and always will be, superior to the Reds no matter what.

On point.

Man, it doesn't get much more epic than this:

Oustanding set! I'm sorry I missed you, but I'm glad you saw our shop and met my bro! Did you make it to the Central West End? I didn't see any photos from there, and it's really one of the most urban and photogenic neighborhoods in the Midwest! Excellent pictures!!

STLgasm Sep 16, 2012 1:10 PM

Wow, these knocked my socks off! We might have to purchase some of those from you. Like Jive said, you'll definitely have to get to some other hot spots next time-- the CWE, the City Museum, Lafayette Square and others!

And you don't stop sure shot...!

Flash Sep 16, 2012 2:22 PM

Thanks everyone.

Xing- It's actually near Lebanon, Il. My brother lives in New Baden.

JivecitySTL/STLgasm - Loved your shop and my wife loves her new shirt. As far as not covering more ground- most of these were in the afternoon and evening after several exhausting days of documenting a steam engine that visited St. Louis. Since my brother lives nearby, I'm sure I'll be back.

Soooooo is there an arch or something there?

Gee, I wonder who's store/house this is? ;) I've thought about putting up multiple clocks like that before with the same time, labeled something like Boston, New York, Philly, Washington D.C., Miami. I think that's a gag from one of the ZAZ movies. Classic though.

My favorite shot too. Texture porn. :P

STLgasm Sep 16, 2012 8:34 PM

Austinlee-- you'll have to come and visit sometime. Our clocks are labeled West End, South Side, North Side, Downtown. If you do the East Coast clocks, please make sure to include Baltimore. That city always gets overlooked and it pisses me off!

I get so excited about a new Flash thread. Every time I see pics of the twins' store (which looks amazing), it reminds me of the old Halcyon in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, which I know you guys visited. Your store has a laid back vibe all its own. Thanks for keeping the vibe alive.

Superior talent equals superior results. That's the stuff.

Halcyon was the coolest. In fact, the shelf that our mugs are displayed on was purchased there. Good times. Everyone is welcome to our shop anytime! Perhaps we can arrange a Skyscraperpage convention or something. Thanks for making the place look so sexy, Flash.

You caught me! I live 4 1/2 hours from B-more and I've never been there and I always forget about it. lol.

I'm down. If you plan one, let me know, give me plenty of notice and I will fly in.
