DALLAS | Altelier | EST: 460FT | 41 FLOORS
A proposed low-rise for the Dallas Arts District gets a massive increase in height with the addition of a high rise section of apartments. Roughly 370 or so apartments plus desperately needed 12k sq ft of retail space at the corner of Olive & Flora. The projected height is about 100ft shorter than Museum Tower, neighboring it to the west. This development could lead to further surface lot removal in the Arts District in the near-future.
This developer has previously built The Mondrian in the West Village and The Monarch in Austin. Dallas Morning News: http://www.dallasnews.com/business/c...rict-tract.ece Renderings: http://frontburner.wpengine.netdna-c..._ArtsTower.jpg http://media.culturemap.com/crop/50/...ict_113435.jpg |
That base looks very Miamish. This is a really nice tower. Good height too, should add to the booming residential corridor.

Atelier Lofts update:
Landscape architect Kevin Sloan and others have voiced strong opposition to a motor court proposed for the Pearl St. side of the project. The developers said they would try to re-do the motor court. This will be a great infill project!

Big D needs to get this kind of height going! And it appears the AMLI project may be even taller.
|
Proforma states construction schedule is to be from July 1, 2017 to March 1, 2019.

Any update on this tower?
It has been a while since construction was supposed to start.. Makes me nervous  |
According to the FAA,https://oeaaa.faa.gov/oeaaa/external...517345&row=464, it is supposed to start on 12/1/17

That would be great. This property is the missing piece in the Arts District and will be a great residential location. The view coming down Olive there is awesome.
It looks like the structure will be 441 feet tall at 39 stories. |
