Identify this building?
Just an antique hand-colored photo I've had for a while, and would like to see if anyone can identify this building.
The back of the photo doesn't have a name of any info for it, so I'm curious. I get an Eastern European to maybe German or Polish feel to this http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...1/EPSON004.jpg |
Looks like something from a worlds fair, dont know. Could be long gone if it were for a fair. The people look like they belong from the 40s or 50s, and judging by how many people are walking around, it just seems like something you would see from a Worlds Fair.
And I just did a quick search for 1940s world fair on google and bam, found it. http://vandm.com/Silver-Gelatin-Phot...t=179033.aspx# |
I was thinking world's fair too, but you nailed it.
