Great tour! I haven't been to Columbus in years, but it definitely came across as one of the cleaner and safer cities in the eastern Midwest.

Wow lots of great photos! Born & raised in Ohio and lived in Columbus for nearly 6 years (four while attending OSU). What a change from when I first arrived nearly 2 decades ago!

Wonderful pics! A friend and a family member both have an opportunity to move there, both are halfway considering it. I haven't been there in YEARS but I remember being surprised at how big it was...definitely need to revisit it to see how much it has changed.

I've seen much more of Columbus, now that I've seen this thread. The city might be considered by some to be bland, and perhaps, it doesn't have the character, history, and reputation that Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and other similar rustbelt cities have, but it does seem to have avoided many of the problems that the aforementioned cities have had. There's never been a population loss, although the city has annexed land over the years. Your thread has done it a lot of justice. :cheers:

Nice pictures! I see a lot of good core neighborhoods in your pictures. I particularly loved German Village when I was there, and I see a lot of it here.
ColDayMan once points out Eric Clapton's house in Columbus, but I don't remember where it is anymore. |

Nice pics...........however, not seeing any particular reason to make a special visit other than experiencing the "Horseshoe" in the fall.......which I really would like to do.
