Beautiful scenery, makes me want to visit the Miami metro someday.

Excellent! I need a vacation in miami SOON
|
cool pics, especially the last sunset!
Las Olas is a cool street in Ft Lauderdale. Wonder if any downtown Miami streets could be converted into something similar. |
what a rough-looking "work" week . Looks beautiful. Hopefully not unbearably hot.

So much good memories in this phototour! Thanks for sharing, ShooFlyPie. Nice and complete tour.
Wishing to go back to Miami and South Beach... Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain. |
Wow! That was a lot of work! Thanks! I got worn out just imaging where you were while you taking all those photos. I do think you managed to capture the overall feel of the place, though it is often more hectic than that.:cheers:

Great overview of the succession of architectural styles over many decades. Many styles are beautiful (especially art deco) while some are hard on the eyes. A few of the pics reminded me some of Honolulu without mountains!

Enjoyable set. Really whets the appetite for my visit next week.

Thank you for sharing these. I've saved several old photographs, showing the office buildings, taken in the 70s/80s. It's interesting to see some of those buildings today, surrounded by the newer residential towers.
There are a few interesting proposals. This building should be a lot of fun to watch during construction, as it rises on the skyline: http://skyscraperpage.com/forum/showthread.php?t=204322 |
I see you got to experience a bit of our summertime rain.
Glad it didn't stop you from getting out and about. Nice set. |
Great pics......Those last few pictures are here in Fort Lauderdale :)

Hell, one dude thinks it was crazy I walked from Downtown LoDo in Denver to Glendale after work every day for months in another thread. That is nothing. Thank you everybody for your comments on my work trip walks. |
Nice, Miami has been repped well on here lately. Those are some bulky residential towers, just came from a Vancouver thread and they are so thin in comparison.

Very interesting photos, ShooFlyPie.
