Night time maps of cities from space

Hi guys,

New to the forum, i hope this is OK to post here.

I have been playing with making night time maps of cities as seen from space for the last year. Its taken a while, but I'm finally happy with the results and would like any opinions and critiques.

They mirror the shots as taken by the astronauts from the ISS which i absolutely love, but when i wanted to print a poster of the London image i found that they were all too blurry or too small to look good...so i set about making my own.

The road information is Openstreetmap of course, and every road is in there. The prints look great for close up viewing up to 1mx1m but if viewed from afar, then bigger is certainly possible. The only photographic image used in the posters is the earth glow in the orbit shots (I checked Nasa's T's and C's and i am allowed to use the image for commercial use..before anyone says anything)

Here is the Link. This is only a handful of images that i have done, i have another 50 cities in the works right now...

Its an interesting observation to note how cities at night look like Nebulas that one can see in space by images taken by the Hubble Telescope. London looks like a Nebula.

As cities slowly change over to LED street lamps it will be interesting to see how the cities will change in appearance from space.
