Super! La Defense is probably my least favourite part of Paris, but these pictures show that it has far more exciting and innovative skyscrapers than most American cities.

That is great! I like this part of Paris better than even some of the historic sections, cause it shows how a city can have both the best classic archiecture and extremely progressive modern areas to appeal to any kind of archiecture fan... I'm sure a lot of people in the world don't even know Paris has a section of the city like this. It looks great!

But it adds to the urban diversity of the metropolis. Nice photos btw ! |
These pictures bear a striking resemblance to areas of Shinjuku and Akasaka in Tokyo, believe it or not.

It is just a nice residencial area near la Defense. |
I was looking for a thread like this, depicting the modern area of Paris, which I knew existed somewhere! If I should go to Paris again, that's where I'll go, directly from the Airport, and skip all that old stuff!
Now, I'm guessing there's a modern area of Rome as well, but how come we never get to see it!!! |
IMBY, is there any reason why you are digging up threads from five years ago? Seriously, man.
