Maysville, KY
 

Maysville is a town of 9,000 in Mason County, northeastern Kentucky. It is located on the Ohio River, 62 miles upstream from Cincinnati and 100 miles downstream from Huntington. In the 1830's Maysville was the #2 city in Kentucky after Louisville. It has a phenominal built environment for a town it's size.

This is a great little town. I love the row inthe 4th pic and the narrow streets lined with tall buildings (at least tall for a town this size!). Avery nice urban environment.

Though it seems kind of rough around the edges, it is a cool looking small city. And the 7 foot wide building is a gem. Wonderful tour Tt, thanks.

Great set! I love Maysville, some great restaurants and cafes in the DT, and some buildings undergoing restoration.

I always enjoy traveling through Maysville. It's amazing that so many of the older buildings Downtown have survived. A really nice collection of photos.

Yes, power plants are located east and west of town. The towers in the background are from the place on the Ohio side of the river that is east of the town of Manchester.

Wow, I love this "little" town. (It's actually way bigger than my hometown). Under the grit and grime and dilapidation a great city lays underneath.
