The area is surely a buzz that's for sure!

I am confused. Doesn't HPD already have a recently renovated HQ downtown? Tall white building...

The one common theme of office projects out by the Grand Parkway is low-slung office buildings with large floor plates. Here's another project, just launched by Trammell Crow.

Yes but not visible in that photo. I think you're confused though, HSPVA is not HPD.

I know the difference. HVSPA is not built yet, HPD's HQ is on Travis:

Then I'm sorry but I'm confused, I'm not catching why you brought it up.

I think they do.... but the bulk of the action they are referring to is a facility in nw houston or perhaps I'm confused.

It wasn't that difficult to follow but...HPD redid their downtown HQ not that long ago and now there are plans for a new one. Confused as to why so soon.

So what do you think of the Alley's new fly loft?

I just missed the post about HPD's prior renovation. As to why so soon... Under budget? Potential cost savings? New source of funds?

The database has 38 under construction that are over 10 stories, not counting what's going up in the Woodlands. And the buildings still in the earthwork stage. By my reckoning, only New York and Miami are doing anywhere near as much in the US. This city's going to look very different in two years.
