The renderings look quaint. Nice looking typical condos to add to Surrey's skyline is a bonus.

What corner is this? And what building is to the right of this development. Will we be seeing hi-rises on all four corners at some point?

yes its kitty corner to the scotia tower, and to the right of it is a residential tower.

Got a shot of the sign today. Ya, kinda boring, but it's not like construction has started yet or anything.

So the floor plans are availible on there website now... not going to lie, dont think I like them at all... I find them very boring...

Almost all small one bedrooms with poor layouts due to long hallways for the corner suites.

plans arent that bad...given the size of the units they work with what they have.

I think they are horrible... There are soo many condo's in surrey that have small units and there layouts are WAY better. I dont think this tower utilizes its space. The thing i hate the most is the kitchens.. They dont really have one, everything is just thrown against one wall...

^maybe time to check out downtown vancouver smaller condos...most have the same thing. It is the best use of space for under 550sqft.

I dont agree at all, there are many condos with better layouts than this. Even Ciptypoints larger condos have the kitchens along the wall, its not just the smaller units.

I would look at Ultra or Sky Tower before these...

kitchens along walls use space much better than a peninsula or island FYI...hence why they are used.

It is nice to have some separation between the kitchen ad the main living area where feasible in the larger units. i.e. look at this pic for the Bowman Block downtown on Beatty and you'll see that the oven door would practically touch the arm of the sofa when open.
