How about posting the rendering also -- so we can all see what the finish product will look like? What is the total height on this again?

pablosan Mar 5, 2007 6:05 AM

A rendering of the project. I don't know the official height of the buildings.

The 27 story tower will be about 308'. The 22 story tower will be about 258'.

Nice to see the townhomes surrounding the garage have started, I've been driving by there for a few months and waiting to see that phase get underway.

The second tower will be nice and with luck the demand can lead to another tower in the are in the near future.

Town Homes

WOW!

I didn't notice those town homes before. They really set this project off! Very excellent project. Is this about 4 miles East of downtown, just north of Cherry Creek (and all of the mid-rises in Cherry Creek)? Being right on the edge of City Park is a great location. You look out from the 27th floor, across City Park, then you see the downtown skyline and a mountain background. That has to be the best overall view in Denver! They should build these towers all through this area!

That would be nice, wouldn't it.

Unfortunately, I think there would need to be some more revitalization of the surrounding neighborhood (aka Colfax corridor) before people seriously considered the area for more luxurious highrises.

This is a great looking project

'Top off' set for Pinnacle high-rise

The Denver Business Journal - 5:22 PM MDT Wednesday, May 2, 2007

The $175 million Pinnacle at City Park South condo project being built near downtown Denver has reached a major milestone -- the "topping off" of its first tower which is 27 stories tall. The Pinnacle's developer, Opus Northwest LLC of Denver, will hold a topping-off ceremony at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 3.
Buildings under construction top off when they reach the highest point of construction, when a final component is placed at the structure's highest elevation.

Located at 1650 Fillmore St., off 17th Avenue and across from City Park, The Pinnacle's 27-story Tower One will have 142 units. The developer expects to complete it in September 2008.

A planned second, 22-story tower will include 111 units. Marketing of those units recently started.

The project also includes 18 houses, called Park Homes, which are now under construction.

Prices at The Pinnacle range from $279,500 to $1.7 million. Seventy-five percent of Tower One has been sold, according to Opus Northwest.

I dont know if i am feeling that brown exterior color, but still not a bad project...

colemonkee Dec 18, 2007 6:00 PM

Is that copper on the lower floors?

ltsmotorsport Dec 18, 2007 6:59 PM

Nice looking project. Maybe this is the start of city park becoming like central park in Manhattan with condo towers lining it.

myshtern Dec 18, 2007 11:21 PM

The copper is beautiful

pablosan Dec 19, 2007 12:02 AM

The copper definately gives it a different edge. This development works pretty well within the surrounding neighborhood.
