Global Supertall Compilation 1) As SSP does not have a master compilation of every supertall around the world, this serves as a reference and database of supertalls spanning world. 2) Will cover buildings 984 ft / 300 m+ Globally 3) More emphasis outside of the U.S.. 4) Will include generals news relating to supertalls, elements of the design process, proposals, u/c status, and so on. Last Updated: 4/25/16 For City Specific Supertalls: 1) Hunsers New York Supertalls 2) Shenzhen Projects and Developments How it Will Work: 1) These couple of first posts will serve as the list for supertalls so in the future, lets say U.A.E. adds a supertall to its complete list, I will update post #2, as its the master list for that country and/or a region. 1) Added U.S. completed. You can get a sense looking at the U.A.E. and U.S.A. section, and how the rest will follow. Note: There might be some slight spelling errors or code, but I will fix that, and also fix the first post in terms of adding new info and possibly a detailed map. |
what about canada? they dont fit into any of these posts, and there are a couple of 300+m towers proposed.

Great idea and I commend you for doing it. Unfortunately, your figures don't jive with the SSP database. It's not really about who is right and who is wrong. It's more about the confusion over a tower's appearance on your list that is not 300 metres in the database. Also, if Skyrise is a supertall than Canada has the tallest supertall in North America.
