I was also there during the past year. It's really an awesome city.
That's what you can end up looking like when you spend an extended period of time at the head a huge empire and take reasonably good care of your stuff. |
LOVE Vienna! Great pics!

Thanks for the pics!
I´d like to experience a trip to Vienna by winter. It must be a very pretty city, as we can see in your nice shots, kool maudit! I only miss the snow on the streets. Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain! |
The undisputed architectural and palatial queen of the German-speaking cities.

Actually that difference is pretty close to some of the reasons why the US is such a mess right now. |
That Samsung is doing the job, kool. Nice shots all around.
Vienna is a spectacular-looking city to this post-modern-dwelling city guy. I've never lived in an area that wasn't mostly built within the last 100 years, so to me, it almost looks exotic. A perfectly-kept, old city. Which is funny, because I worked with a couple from Austria way back when in Vancouver, and they thought Vancouver was the most spectacular-looking modern place they'd ever been. They were mesmerized by the glass towers everywhere. I found that reaction was very common among western Europeans in North America. I was always puzzled by that, but then, it's the same as me drooling over what I was never able to experience on a daily basis. That green grass on the other side, man.... |
Muy wien.

I'm still not too familiar with this city so you covered enough ground to satisfy my initial impressions. Nice set!

Amazing city. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful! This is the city that first introduced me to walkable urbanism. Visiting as a suburban American 14 year old, it was an eye opening experience to see such a clean, beautiful, safe and easy to navigate landscape of historic density, and lead me to forever question the suburban landscape I am surrounded by here in the States. I will always have a special love for Vienna!

Budapest is better, but Vienna is gorgeous too:cheers:

rock me amadeus. nice wieners there, kool. looks like they meant it when they built it. their take on amerika and australien indigenous peoples is not unlike ours of them, considering they gave us the governator. |
Interesting city. Looks almost more Southern European than Germanic. Very clean town

Schlagobers & blood! Nice set. :-)
