Very nice tour about Colombus! Thanks for sharing.
I like Victorian Village, its streets and houses are pretty. The downtown is attractive too. Me gusta, like that t-shirt says. Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain. |
Thanks for the stellar tour! The old housing stock is rad.

the dube! nice work here. looking forward to other neighborhood threads to come.

Yay for bikeshare!
Also, is this new? Pretty nice. http://www.urbanohio.com/UOThreads/2...NorthCMH43.jpg |
I'll hold off on posting my Columbus thread until the awesomeness here disperses somewhat.
|
Certainly has changed (for the better) since I went to school there '65-'67.

Columbus seems to not get enough attention sometimes. It's a good looking city. I like several of the talls and most cities would love to have its old stock.

Nice photos!

(btw, the lighter cream colored brick building to the far left also had the upper floor expansion... it's pretty impressive how well it matches to the original ground floor building) |
I love the handsome brick architecture, leafty streets and neighborhood archways. Columbus is definitely underrated.
|
I only really saw Downtown, the Short North and OSU campus, mostly along High Street, and it was a broiling summer weekday. I saw lots of places that have to be hopping at night on the weekends.
This covers so much more ground, and I agree Columbus is quite underrated. |
Such a pleasant, happy city! Nice tour, ColDayMan. I still remember when you took me all around Columbus years ago. Good times, good times.

The Crockfords are proud of this adoption.

Awesome tour of Columbus, thanks!
I especially like this one: http://www.urbanohio.com/UOThreads/2...NorthCMH95.jpg |
Outstanding thread! It's a shame Columbus doesn't get more attention.
|
Thanks for the great thread, ColDay!
I've always loved Columbus. Being from the Cleveland area originally, this has always been my second favorite Ohio metro. Being a Nationwide brat may have something to do with it. ;) |
Your photos of Columbus are quite impressive, one of these days perhaps I'll get to visit.
|
great pics.
I had to look more into Columbus after watching these 'level up' videos in which a Columbus resident goes to ethnic grocery stores, restaurants, etc and catches people off guard by speaking their language (he speaks Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Somali, Czech, etc). I had no idea just how diverse the city/metro was till I found his addicting videos: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL520AD8A7826EF11A |
Nice photos. Some parts look "Toronto-esque".
