Does anyone know if this Holiday Inn Hotel project is cancelled or is supposed to go ahead. I have heard from someone at City Hall that it may be cancelled.

Orleans developer unveils plans for hotel, office space
More progress in the Orleans Town Centre. Another hotel and potentially office buildings, and construction starting soon on more townhomes and condo units according to this article. With the Farm Boy and Celestia condo finishing soon the area is growing. It would be nice if St. Joseph Boulevard became a vibrant mainstreet that fed into the town centre. Anyone know why there's no major development happening on St. Joseph?

I drove by today and it looks as though construction has begun.

Is this all that the City of Ottawa deserves in its satellite bedroom community? Maybe we should transfer this thread to the Ugly Ottawa thread?:yuck: |
