Top Hotels in Canada according to tripadvisor

Yeah I know, just another Top-x list on the web...

But according to this list, I'd say Quebec City (3 in top 5) and Vancouver and BC in general (15 in list) are kicking hotel butts around the country :haha:

I love the hotel with the framed picture of Piston Honda on the wall :haha:

I expected more from the Ritz Carlton Montreal judging by its exterior. It was one of the my favorite buildings from my visit a month ago. The entrance/lobby looked like something out of Upper East Side Manhattan. Not that the interiors are ugly, they just seem somewhat commonplace (although I love the chery hardwood floors) I also dont care for LED colored lighting in interior spaces.

Then again, Im just judging the interior design based on the pictures on the review site.

EDIT The Ritz Royal Suite looks beautiful!

I am very surprised that the Shangri-La was that low on the list!!

I'm actually surprised these big luxury hotels would have any of their guests writting up a review on tripadvisor... :P

I would take a list of hotels based off people who have rated them from a discount travel site with a grain of salt. I've stayed at a few Like Hotel Blu, while it was a very nice hotel if it's #17 in Canada that's not saying a lot for Canada.

^ we've only stayed at 2 of these (we are loyal To Sheraton hotels) but my partner reviews everything on Tripadvisor

I feel that Quebec is the best by far when it comes to hospitality.

I think honorable mention should go to the Montreal Travelodge :D

Many of the hotels listed charge as much per night as the Travelodge on Rene Levesque charges for a week.

Yeah, that's why I'm shocked that they beat Shangri-La. I mean celebrities exclusively choose to stay at that hotel for a reason.

I can't believe Transit hotel in Edmonton never made the list.
