We’re making a proposition where it’s hard for them to say no.” The 46-story Coach tower, at 10th Avenue and West 30th Street, is one of two buildings planned for an eastern section of the project that doesn’t require a platform over the railroad tracks. Construction of the decking for the second portion should cost about $800 million, Related Hudson Yards President L. Jay Cross said in an interview last year.

Ross isn’t worried about financing the project, he said in the interview.

The portion of the project to start next year will include a second office tower and a 750,000-square-foot retail complex, along with a hotel and some residential units, he said. Both eastern sections should be completed by 2017, according to Ross.

Schumer vows to jump-start tunnel project

"That means we need to build these tunnels now," the senior senator said. "We can't wait for the rest of the project to be formulated or nothing will happen."

I believe the configuration has changed from that now, probably the result of having Amtrak instead of NJ Transit in charge of this new plan.

Something doesn't seem right about pic #4. I think that semicircular residential tower is supposed to go there. This slender structure looks as if it's supposed to be 432 Park.

PS: The ob deck is sick......... ;)

My guess is that these renders are not new and most come from a time when there was uncertainty about it's final height.

In this one it appears to be even shorter than the residential tower:

The only time I will believe the height has changed is when the developers say it has.
