Hm, for a huge supertall it sure is a bit bland...then again it isn't too bland since there aren't many similar boxes around.
|
Uhhhhhhhhhh.... It's....tall.

And this should be moved to U/C:

Looks like every small fishing village in China gets a 1500ft+ tower these days

here, there, and everywhere. here, there. So hip to be square.

Why does this town have a super-tall skyscraper? My relatives live in this town, and this place is nothing more than a suburb of Shenzhen, or Guangzhou. It makes no sense. It's like putting some 1,600 foot tall skyscraper in White Plains. It won't see much use.

For sum odd reason it reminds me of the never built 2,300 foot Chicago WTC. Probably the massiveness. Unless this is some huge state run Chinese company that needs something this humongous it better become mixed use or it will never fill up in this "suburb".

This building, among others, makes me think I'm right that part of the reason China is building so many skyscrapers is to pad their "economic growth" figures without the actual economic growth.
|
This tower is cancelled. 2x250 are under preparation in the moment on its place.
