I love the rebirth of Rene Levesque Ouest into one of the very best urban canyons in the country. That western part (West of Stanley) used to be a fugly, bombed-out, no-mans-land of parking lots and dreck.

Needs a paving job, though.

More of a ravine I would say, lol! ;)

It's a good urban canyon. May not be the one that canyon afficianos like, but it has the proper effect and extends for a good distance.

The 628 St-Jacques PoMo tower will have a great effect here.

That Saint John picture is amazing.

Nice. In the next 5 years we will witness in that view 3 more 120(ish) towers on the left side + 2 22 floor towers in the background, which will appear like a terminated vista. The west part of the canyon will be complete.
