Fishing on Edmonton's North Saskatchewan
 
We decided to launch a wee boat and hit the river that runs through Edmonton last weekend. No fish, but it is truly amazing how you feel like you are not in the middle of a city of a million + people.

Nice pictures. What is amazing to me is that the first weekend in May up there looks like the first weekend in March in this area. I know you guys are way up north, but it's still crazy to see barren grass and no buds on the trees at this time of year.

Is anything being done to keep the houses from sliding down the cliff in the future?

^^^We are having a VERY late spring... but traditionally dont turn green until May.

^yup... 3 houses slid down those cliffs about 10 years ago.
