CALA hit $3.50 the other day and is currently around $3.40.
MFC.TO has rolled back a bit--I predict that gap around $20-21 has gotta fill soon. Will $gold crash through or bounce off the 200dma? |

Manulife - MFC.TO up over $23 bucks now.
Won't look at Bombardier, but might consider Magna. So far stock Market not crashing on fear of Donald Trump taking office. I'm enjoying it I'm making thousands of dollars on the run up, I just don't think it will last and I will continue to prepare to profit massively from any market downturn moderate or severe. |
I'd stay away from MG.TO--the automotive sector is seeing sales decline.
gold indeed has dropped. CALA holding firm at $3.45. Manulife is overbought--dumb money is chasing straws. |
I'm riding Manulife, I bought it for dividends. These capital gains are bonus.
My buddy is piling 100k into gold to ride the traditional bull market at the beginning of the year. Trump is a certain for uncertainty. |
Manulife's divi is a joke. BCE is where to be for that kind of thing.
|
High Inflation, High Interest rates predicted with Trump. As well as banking deregulation.
Gonna load up on Financials, perhaps enough BCE so the dividends cover my phone bills. Lol. Already up 4% on Manulife in one month. |
It's too bad we don't seem to have a strong semiconductor industry here or have stocks traded here of one. Been looking to invest in driverless automobiles and I want to look into the component manufacturers but we don't have any traded on the TSX :(

While Caltrane is bragging about 4% return on MFC, I can point out CALA went up 30% in the same time frame if you bought at $3.15:

Stock Market still going up, I can't believe it. I thought Trump would tank the economy for sure, so far so good. I'm making money, and I don't even know why. Anyways, I'm currently splitting my income between new stock acquisitions and a cash reserve to short the market in the event of a crash or downturn, then buy bargain basement style after the carnage. No way, Trump can guide the economy smoothly for 4 years.
My next target stock is RioCan - I play it safe. Dow 20,000 today! |

My risky trades are leveraged ETF's in markets I understand. Nothing, I will do lightly, or without considering the risk I am putting on myself. |

|
Stock Market is being very good today.

I can't do that man.
By the way my Manulife Stock is up 9% now. - Building up a nice cash position in my brokage account looking for bargains is getting harder, if I can't find anything good. I'll just buy more dividend paying blue chips. I love cash though, with this Orange Clown in charge anything can happen, and I want to be prepared . |
Stock market keeps going up, I make more on the paper capital gains than I do at my job. The cool thing is I am at 70% cash allocation. Its hard for me to buy because my stocks are going up, so I am accumulating a larger cash position, while I wait for stocks to draw down. Good problem to have, I guess.
Anyways, My girlfriend, bought me the Intelligent Investor a couple weeks ago, I've been reading it like a fiend. So awesome to read about how to deploy and reserve cash to build in long term returns. Just buy the good companies, proven earnings, earnings growth, etc, etc. But don't overpay. |
CALA is holding firm at $9. I'm surprised CAL@trane didnt' like the ticker :)
Another pharma I'm analyzing ATM: NTRP - currently around $11.50. Will it hit $50 or $5 first? |

Anyways, you should sell now. (Unless you have some awesome inside information) |
NTRP hasn't hit $5 or $50 but just hit a high of $18.75. Nice trade.:)
|
You didn't say to buy.
How much did you put in...its ok if you don't wanna say. Buying based on Internet max I would put in is a grand. |
