The Freedom Tower will be done in about four years. The old WTC towers took about 8 years to complete. But that time also included a hell of a lot of excavation.

It's not that long of a construction schedule for the FT, people just don't seem to realize that construction only began last year.

And also, the Twins more than likely took longer because new challenges came up and had to be resolved practically while the towers were being built.

He'll adapt to it. It won't be until it is completed that it will start to really grow on me, but I already like it.

Yeah, you're right. Most see it being built but won't accept it, and in so doing, they mentally block it out of their minds and sight.


Denial begins to set in and they won't accept things as planned.

Unless either a nuclear bomb goes off in New York or the stock market crashes (or a nuclear bomb goes off in the stock market) this is going to be a reality.

Sorry I said that you hate it, but the thing is being built now. What more do you expect?

Sure, it took five years to get the tower started on the road to being built, but think of it this way. In about four more years, the tower should hopefully be open or about to open for business.
